A thrilling exhibition at the Center Court’s Central Hall includes displays about the innovations from all of the researchers, knowledge workers, designers and young talents at Brightlands Chemelot Campus. It’s regularly supplemented by work created by several young, independent designers for inspiration. The exposition is co-created by campus organizations and Yksi Expo.
Among the showcased innovations is the SunSmart window, which features Thermochromic Solar Control Glazing. This window is an affordable and sustainable solution for efficient heat management in the built environment. It offers high visible transparency while autonomously switching between a solar infrared transmissive state and a blocking state, depending on the temperature. The transition is seamless and does not cause any visible color changes.
